3-WEEK CHALLENGE

April 20 – May 10

Welcome to the next installment of our "Conquer Covid Challenge" series from SXS Fitness. For those who did the first challenge, this will build upon the work already completed, with some new additions. For those joining us for the first time, we've put together a full fitness and wellness program that requires no equipment, which can be done anywhere, with the intention of keeping you fit and healthy while bringing our communities together.


Why Join?

We are expanding upon the success of our first Conquer Covid Challenge to bring you the second iteration for Spring.

Keep improving on your results from the first Challenge or Join as a new participant. We are here to help you stay healthy, fit and positive in the safety of your own home. Just because we are apart doesn't mean we can't stay connected!

1 Select plan and pay

Chose between the BASIC or PRO plan. Pay for the Challenge using our secure payment platform within MINDBODY Online. If you don't already have an account you will need to set one up. It's quick and easy.


2 Register for the Challenge

Make sure you register before the start date - Monday April 20. If you've used WodifyRise before, login with your existing credentials.

Daily Tasks

Below is a list of the 6 Daily Tasks that you will need to complete each day.

DRINK 2L of WATER

We are made mainly of water. Keeping our bodies hydrated is key to maintaining optimal health. It keeps your mind sharper, your body moving better and your immune system on point.

EAT 5 SERVINGS OF VEGETABLES

We know that vegetables are key to a healthy diet. Eating more vegetables increases your intake of fiber, vitamins and minerals while displacing calories from less healthy foods that may be causing inflammation and damage to your body.

DAILY CHALLENGE

We will be doing Fitness and Wellness related activities that will change each day. They will include exercise challenges, reading articles, and listening or participating in videos.

WORKOUT

Workouts will be posted weekly where they can be viewed from your mobile device or downloaded and printed. For an additional cost of $25 you can receive the PRO package which provides workout plans through the Trainerize App. Trainerize has an easy to follow layout with in depth videos of all the exercises at your fingertips. It also allows you to track your results and has a built in timer to run your workout for you. It's as close to having a personal trainer in your home as you can get.

WILD CARD

You pick what task you'd like to focus on over the next 3 weeks from a hand selected list. Whatever task you choose, you must stick with it for the entire challenge so choose wisely.

SOCIAL MEDIA POST

We are looking for some social engagement here. Post something positive about any of the tasks you completed. Be creative. Humour goes a long way during these strenuous times. Make sure you include the challenge hashtags: #conquercovid #sxschallenge #sxsfitness


Scoring

All scoring will be done using the "WODIFY Rise" App. You can add scores retroactively if you forget to update the day before, up until 48 hours later. Scores can be updated throughout the day but make sure you don't give yourself points prematurely for something you "plan on doing" or haven't completed yet. The maximum score you can acheive each day is a perfect 100.
